Legacy Works to Stop Debit Card Fraud

We want you to use your debit card without fearing you might have a fraudulent transaction happen to you.  That’s why we’re teaming up with our ATM network, Shazam, to implement a new fraud protection service.  This service automatically ‘learns’ your debit card  usage and if it finds a transaction that doesn’t appear quite right then it sends the transaction to a Shazam Fraud Monitoring Specialist.

If the Specialist determines a call to you is justified to verify you actually made the transaction, someone from Shazam may call you to make sure you performed the transaction.  If you did perform the transaction then nothing further happens.  If you did not perform the transaction then Shazam will stop the transaction before it can affect your account.  If you cannot be contacted, your card will be blocked so further transactions cannot be processed until someone from Legacy can contact you to confirm the transaction is valid or not.
